Returns
MuseoDeco.com is committed to high quality products and your satisfaction is very important to us!
The following return policy applies to all products except those stating their own return policy with the Specific Product Information in the FAQ&Help section of www.museodeco.com.
- MuseoDeco offers a 30 days return policy on selected items based on manufacturer return policies.
- If merchandise arrives damaged: it is best to REFUSE it back to the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package make sure the damaged information is noted on the carrier's delivery record in order for MuseoDeco to file a damage claim. Save the merchandise AND the original box and packing it arrived in, notify MuseoDeco immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify MuseoDeco of damaged goods within the first 15 days of arrival, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions.
- Any item that is missing the UPC can ONLY be replaced with the same item. After 30 days, all manufacturers' warranties apply.
- DEFECTIVE returns can be returned directly to MuseoDeco within 30 days from the invoice date, at MuseoDeco's discretion for: refund, credit, replacement, exchange or repair.
- NON-DEFECTIVE returns can be accepted directly by MuseoDeco within 30 days from the invoice date, at MuseoDeco's discretion for: credit, exchange. All NON-DEFECTIVE returns are subject to a 25 percent restocking fee, except for items that are not matching the original order.
MuseoDeco reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the invoice date. Original shipping charges are refunded on returned items. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to MuseoDeco on returned items, and MuseoDeco will pay the shipping charges on the replacement or exchange item(s) going back.
Prior to returning any item(s) to MuseoDeco.com, you must receive authorization from our Customer Service Department. To request authorization please send e-mail to museo@museodeco.com with the following details:
- Email Subject: RETURN REQUEST
- Order #, First & Last Name
- Item #(s) you want to return
- Specify reason for return: damaged, received incorrect item or size, etc.
- Wait for our Customer Service team to e-mail you with your Return Authorization & Instructions.
Once we have received your returned item, we will notify you via e-mail of the action taken (credit, replacement, exchange, repair or refund). For refunds, you can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 business days of our receiving your return. If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of a refund will be issued as a new gift certificate reflecting a new total so you may use that balance on a future purchase. Please note, the original expiration date will still apply. Should you return an order that was placed using a promotional coupon, you will not be refunded for the amount of the coupon, as these discounts were deducted from the original purchase amount.
All products returned must: be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer boxes, contain all manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer.
You are responsible for shipping charges on returned items; MuseoDeco will match your shipping method on your replacement or exchange item(s).
MuseoDeco strongly recommends you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection. |
